I do know what I'm talking about. I can walk in to a hospital in the US and if I'm willing to pay, I can get pretty much any care I want/need fairly immediately.

You can't do that in Canada or Britain.

And yet, the system in the US is getting more and more strangled and stupid with the amount of regulatory waste that gets added every year.

But that's the point. Keep people sick and desperate so they rely on an intentionally broken system that only sees them either as cash cows or inconveniences.

And yes, it is a dogmatic opinion. Regulation has made everything worse and more exoensive. Everything.
