I understand that it’s bad for discovery, yet there is no “global” nostr state because you can never guarantee that you are reading from every single relay (public, private, tor, or FIPS relays) at the exact same time. You are at the whim of dumb relays giving you the correct info. Nothing guarantees you get all of it.

There’s no query that returns “the whole network as of now,” because there’s no now and no whole.

It’s the way the protocol is designed! Authenticity signed, never complete.
