"content": "I wondered if the Romans ever found dinosaur bones — and surprisingly, they did. https://image.nostr.build/c66253bb2a0149e54498817ea4bb8338e7149f66457829ac840a46397ebb317d.jpg\n\nOf course, they didn’t know about dinosaurs, but they did discover and even collect giant fossils. Pliny the Elder describes a “sea monster” found near Joppa, with ribs taller than an elephant.
