The thing is, in Venezuela and other similar places around the world (what's usually called the 3rd world), it's even more dystopian.

In Venezuela, you're working remotely for a "gringo" as a virtual assistant helping him run is Spiderman doll business in the US/EU, trying to make sure that he doesn't understand that your electricity fails every 3h, all while paying the police guy next door $10 per month (from the gringo's money) to stay away from your business/life so that you can feed your 3 unemployed family members. You can't do many physical/real-world things and businesses like farming because the police/criminals will take it from you.

And in my view this is definitely an upgrade from an even more broken past. There's more possibilities, more information, more exchange. The internet and technology is making everything better. We just have to keep calm and carry on.

My point is we can see dystopia and simultaneously we can also see the opportunities everywhere. The most important is that we stick together and carry on :)
