"content": "Recently I asked some random Americans what they think about my idea of hitchhiking through the USA. Remember, last year I hitchhiked through part of Europe and was completely thrilled by that experience.\n\nAnd here's the interesting part: most Americans strongly advise against repeating such an experiment in their country. They say it's dangerous. But I still can't figure out if it's a real objective danger or just a stereotype that's stuck in their heads?\n\nSo, right now I feel a bit confused. I don't want to give up the idea, but I also don't want to take any thoughtless risks. Does anyone have experience or a different perspective? #travel #USA #hitchhiking #adventure #safety #exploration\nhttps://data1.behind.ai/mastodon/media_attachments/files/114/655/416/627/793/791/original/c8decee42bbd8a17.jpg\n",
