"content": "Severn Valley Railway\n\nThe next part of my Big Wednesday in Kidderminster was a trip on the Severn Valley Railway. As I mentioned in my last post, I ended up catching a vintage diesel locomotive hauled service, with the particular loco being a diesel-hydraulic one, a novelty in most parts except the British Railways’ Western Region, which in culture and procurement policies was barely distinguishable from its pre-nationalisation predecessor, the Great Western Railway.\n\nhttp://thermiteis.online/2024/08/06/severn-valley-railway/",
