"content": "Something I hadn't considered before: designing a 3D print to be largely hollow, then filling it with hobby concrete to set it solid and rigid. This guy made a little desktop lathe by 3D printing the frame and then filling it with concrete for strength: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Js8erWbsDQ\n\nI've heard of 3D prints being used for slip casting, but designining a print with a large hollow specifically to be filled and then used that way is cool and might open up some new projects in future.\n\n#maker #3DPrinting",
