Another thing I want to say is that online - both on and off Pedi -, I see a lot of cruelty or overwhelming vitriol thrown towards people who have done something wrong.
Whether that was from a place of ignorance or malice is rarely taken into account.

I don't really care for how old the person is, I really do believe that we could just stand to be less aggressive towards everyone, and we could all do better by being more compassionate and understanding.
That doesn't mean forgiveness or letting things slide, or not caring about whether someone has done something wrong.
It just means doing more to keep everyone calm, and keep whatever issues occurred from happening again.

When we respond like that, I believe we are taken further away from where we need to be, and I think that does nothing but harm.
