My mind is hard to change. For the same reason I gave him a lot of benefit of the doubt before finally having to listen to him call everyone not in complete lockstep with his views his "enemy" aggressively for about a month straight, it is going to be really hard for me to like or trust him again.

But I don't necessarily wish him any ill will.
