You know what’s especially bad about AI-generated “slop”? If someone else wrote something as stupid or brilliant, you could credit that person with your opprobrium or praise. With AI, it’s not clear anything like that is appropriate. It’s like having books with no author. The author is the most important thread to finding similar material and AI doesn’t have one.
