You're hedging against compute scarcity with this strategy, not AI.
And by hedging against AI I mean hedging against the absurd funding for microslop and 'em.
My point is that the compute exists and is valuable. All this compute will do one of two things: train/deploy models OR mine PoW coins. Investing in one means hedging against the other.
"A digitized currency cannot exist if the mechanisms necessary to digitize the currency (compute) is scarce". No, it's the opposite. PoW mining is valuable precisely because compute is scarce. And game theory implies any free compute would become scarce under the incentive of mining.
