I was trying to point out that there has to be another reason why Damus can’t natively zap since there are plenty of clients that operate like Damus but aren’t restricted.
Admittedly, I haven’t used it yet, but, YakiHonne seems to have the same functionality as Damus, without the need for a hack, So I can’t help but wonder what else they did that Apple treats them this way.
