Rafael Behr writes a good article about the politics of the Starmer/Reeves/Treasury relationship.
But, like Starmer (& sadly, like Reeves) he has a poor grasp of economics. Instead of swallowing the Treasury-speak monetarist analysis of the economy, why doesn't he challenge it?
Until it IS challenged, we are in for more austerity, social & economic disintegration, and a massive boost for Reform UK come the next election.
