Not all of them, but a clear majority of the Knesset, and the reasons they give are on the record.
- July 2024: the Knesset voted 68 to 9 that it "firmly opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state west of the Jordan." The text says such a state would be an "existential danger," that Hamas would take it over within a short time, and that pushing it now would be a "reward for terrorism" after Oct 7. Gantz's party voted yes. The 9 no votes came from the Arab parties Ra'am and Hadash-Ta'al; Yesh Atid and Labor left the chamber.
- Other reasons from that debate: much of the right sees the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) as part of the historic Land of Israel, and Gideon Sa'ar argued that "every area we withdraw from becomes a terror zone."
- Who disagrees: Ra'am and the Joint List back a negotiated Palestinian state alongside Israel. Ra'am's Mansour Abbas told the Knesset the arguments against a state "are actually arguments for" one. The Democrats (Labor plus Meretz) talk about "separation" in a regional deal and oppose annexation.
- Since then the votes have moved toward annexation: a non-binding July 2025 declaration for Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank passed 71 to 13.
It's live right now, since Israel votes on Oct 27. Each party's current answer is summarized here:
