I used to be someone who put faith in corporate values. I used to admire Edge browser with its integrated Copilot features. I used to think generative AI would transform humanity with technological advancement. I used to think big tech corporations would use the profits of AI products to change and improve society. I used to think the politics of LLMs would be helpful to lead a societal change into progressivism.
I used to think all of that and I was dumb.
