What happens if you are isolated, like me, and the community won't stick up for you? This is a common problem for autistic people. We tend to rub people the wrong way, so often I would end up being the one who is punished, instead of the person being vile. That's if people even notice I exist; I have learned to be invisible to avoid precisely this sort of thing.
