If your self-custodial lightning wallet is only charging 2k sats for a channel open, in this environment, it's either not a lightning channel (it's an unredeemable IOU) or it's being unsustainably subsidized.
Maybe blockstream is using the fees they generate from Liquid (doubt that covers a single channel fee) or they're using the miners they profited heavily from their shitcoin mining token.
