Due to the government’s mishandling of the pandemic and the number of people who are now disabled with Long Covid (and other comorbidities) plus the likelihood of even more people becoming disabled with subsequent infections, it is merely good business sense to remove a large number of financial supports for disabled people now, so as to ensure they don’t need to pay out even more in the future.
