I would recommend, for copyrighted content with proprietary licenses (Free/Libre licenses & creative commons don't have this issue), the use of anonymizing networks underneath.
For instance, it is impossible for corposcum to detect it properly through I2P or to guess at the nature of whatever is torrented.
