i think they maybe look less cringe when you can't decode their habits, expressions and quality of statements.
To explain: on the one hand there is the party and that party is even made up of some very capable individiuals.
Their flaw from my perspective is that most of them haven't been active right wingers before joining or supporting the AFD.
It's a protest movement where principles and content matter less then the message you wanna deliver to those in power.
They are not a homogenous group. They may agree on core principles like less migration, but whenever they appear publicly they loudly deny being far right, sometimes even being right and claim the position of classical liberalism Sarg'n style (without the dependance on the child).
They need to do that because a large part of their votership wouldn't give them the vote when they would publicly admit to be far right, i know thats shizo, but thats the way it is. My coworker who works in Distribution is one of those. He is into esoterics, does yoga and ayur veda and loves Osho (cult leader). He basically voluntarily campaigned for AFD for the last 3 years, forwarded their material, voiced his support for their politics.
Strangely that guy approached me on the day that Höcke was found guilty of using unconstitutional and tainted language, and basically questioned his complete involvement just because that guy got labelled as something honourable by the enemy, and he was really afraid people could think he was Nazi. Then i gave him refreshment of morals and principles, why what the enemy propaganda labels you as doesn't matter when you are right, and explained to him that the label is the only ammo they have against AFDs talking points etc... And thats where the major flaw lies.
The party isn't founded on principles and conviction, it's founded on a shared feeling of discontent for different reasons. Their voters are good men and women i don't mean to belittle those, but they don't have an ideology or a fix set of believes besides being anti ruling class...
I feel like i'm talking and talking and don't manage to get the point across... maybe i can explain the difference between me and them.
When it comes to racism people love to argue facts, headlines and statistic. I don't. To me thats fake as hell and a cope. All i need to know to be terminally racist is that Niggers stink and ruin any Landscape or scenery they happen to be in. Thats conviction. No statistics, news reporting, or facts can change that. Will i socialize with guys who need to argue about racism to feel assured... Maybe... Will i rely on them in the fight for the cause... nope.
I don't compromise on my views, when people can't handle them they shall bugger off play with their genitals.
AFD thinks it's better to disavow all "tainted" history and be sort of pro faggotry and pro "integration" of invaders, to me that is treason against our forfathers and desecrates the sacrifices they made.
Thats like what explains my view on them... also besides few exemptions their public figures are totally cringe and sometimes even shady... Like where have they been before they came crawling out of the woodwork.
