I got over 50 yellow jacket stings last summer, and quite a few from baldfaced hornets. When I have to do risky gardening or work where the aggressive bees are, I now don the bee suit. Last year, after getting stung probably a dozen times by wasps in a few seconds, I was doing everything they tell you not to do when a swarm comes: Scream and flail my arms while running away and falling down repeatedly. The thing about bald-faced hornets is they can sting you over and over, and even when they're caught up in your clothing and can't sting you properly they will start chewing on you.
