Whew, it's hot, even though I have a shade set up, it's hard to stay under it while excavating a spot for some stairs to land.
Cutting those horrible old 24" sq concrete pavers is probably the worst task in the whole deck rework/reno, but it's a way to re-use a bunch of that material. Getting rid of them is hard. They're heavy, invariably broken and ugly.
They're really hard to cut too. I suspect they used iron-ore slag or similar in their making. Diamond saw blade ultimately worked best.
