I've just never understood the appeal of Sydney Sweeney.
The first I ever saw her was in The White Lotus as a bratty blonde teenager. And she was fine in that. Not terribly memorable, but fine.
Then I started to get the impression that's always her thing. Bratty, on the edge of slutty, etc. Which is OK in that plenty of actors fill roles they already seem good at—certainly true of character actors.
But I simply don't know if there's anything beyond that! And now with that *awful* jeans ad… 🤷🏻♂️
