for more than a decade I've been downloading and storing music on my phone, avoiding even self-hosted options for streaming. because from my perspective, I don't need an internet access to listen for music.
and being a child of 00s when in school we used to keep all our songs stored in phone, I kept stuck with this
seeing the enshittification of music streaming services, I'm more confident it was and still is the right thing to do
