But I bet smart kids in a good area and/ or a higher social class would have been given different treatment.

There was only one teacher in my school who cared, and he was the alternative styled art teacher.

I was a Goth kid who liked to draw and was a bit odd. (Turns out I'm autistic. Yay late diagnosis.)

So even the teachers bullied me too. 🤷🏼‍♀️

But there wasnt an alternate school close enough for me to swap to. I ended up leaving half way through my A levels.
