btw should clarify i meant antipathy i had for the ancestor. i didn't have antipathy toward the red men as a whole- although it's enraging to read about atrocities they have done to us and then see all the noble savage crap the americans get in media

it does bemuse you though. like i really did lose the antipathy i had toward this mystery ancestor when i saw their face. doesn't mean i change my opinion on any issue or change politically, but it was an interesting experience for me, personally, and i'm glad i found the connection.

the family i have in the US descend from several groups who've been there since near the beginning, red man aside. bretty gool. same for my aussie ones.
