Yup Agreed carbs can be shocking for health, especially all the processed crap.
Fats seam mostly healthy, and sugar(carbs) is the devil.
I actually don't personally eat meat or other animal products, over a decade.
Month ago started moving to more keto diet (certainly made challenging by my choice not to eat animal products). Has certainly improved was specialists told me was "lazy intestines", which was just something I had to live with.
Seems to me most people are either in the meat is bad, or meat is good camp. While reality is more, processed carbs/sugars are bad. In regards to fats and protein, personal choice where you get them from.
There is obvuosly healthy and unhealthy vegans and Omni's.. The unhealthy in both care typically the junk food and processed food eaters.
Avoiding the processed crap is key. Sadly for me that is quite tricky, but I'm getting there.
