I had a mini-epiphany yesterday.. kinda sad one actually..
I was there when the internet started. I remember the awe and wonder. It soon became a friendly tool. Handy. Relatively trustworthy as long as ya didnt wander off too far.. a good thing.
For me, now, its becone a hostile adversarial thing. A protect yourself thing. A never ending everything connected surveillance and spam thing.
Kinda sad.. like loosing innocence kinda sad..
