I never seen his picture.

I just figured some Latinos/as consider themselves white for whatever self-hating reason.

I can see Chileans, Argentines and even Uruguayans of pure European stock saying this and getting away with it.

But in my Caribbean mind, everyone else in Latin America is mutt of Black, White and Amerindian.

I love it when Dominicanos tell me they are white.
