Anyone else use #HomeAssistant for their homestead? I made a water tank monitor with a pressure sensor, a flow meter tied to a shut off valve so that when the livestock break the water line it doesn't drain the water tank, temperature and humidity sensors that will alert me if my incubator temp or humidity goes out of tolerance. All with no programming!
A few projects to get to include: a relay I can turn on and off with my phone to disable my hotwire fence so when working on the other end of the property I can turn it off without shocking myself, an electric fence monitor to alert me if its not hitting hard enough, and updating my solar powered semi-automatic chicken coop door and lights to be set via the sunrise and sunset rather than set times.
