It is the deadliest accident involving a single plane in history. 3) 349 DEAD - CHARKHI DADRI, INDIA, NOVEMBER 12, 1996An Ilyushin from Kazakhstan Airlines flying to New Delhi collided with a Boeing from Saudi Arabian Airlines that had taken off from Delhi bound for Dhahran.
