My #MARCHintosh project has arrived! It doesn’t boot as expected (no HDD, I have a SSD on the way for it).

Question for the Mac nerds though - I can’t get into Open Firmware, either using Option+Command+O+F at the chime, or by just holding Option. It goes to the disk error every time. The reset key combo (Control+Shift+fn+Power) does work, so the keyboard seems okay.

Can I not get into Open Firmware without a drive installed?

I need to hit up the home center for regular CD-R’s.
