With a typhoon warning in the Yellow Sea predictions of a direct hit meant staying in the rickety house in downtown Kunsan South Korea was not a safe option. She hailed a taxi to the Air Force base. Once there she had to run through a flooded grassy area scattered with large trees that she stopped and braced herself behind as each strong gust of wind and driving rain hit her. By the time she made it to the building the #water was up to her waist and she looked like a drowned rat
