This is a good writeup of Virtual Private Node. I might have to give it a try and see what it is like. For years, I've been running my own full node with each part of the stack manually installed, permissioned, containerized, and isolated from each other. Full node, LND, mempool, THub, LNBits, Electrs. It is a lot of work keeping each component up to date.

I've often pondered about streamlining things and moving away from the full stack and manual approach, but have never found a good automated server platform with the right trade-offs. This one is definitely interesting.

Virtual Private Node is one of the more interesting Bitcoin node projects I’ve run across. I tested the download process, Tor default setup, ZEUS QR pairing, TUI workflow, and the trust tradeoffs. I appreciate the work going into this stack.
