unwelcome, really? Honestly, I do that all the time. Every once in a while, I get an unfriendly response, and it baffles me every time because it’s so rare. And also kind of irrational, because if someone publishes a public post on an international public network… how could they expect no one notices and comments on it?

In other words: do take part, please. Your voice is just as welcome as anyone else’s. And if somebody blocks you for it, good riddance 🤷‍♀️
