because everyone seems to be treating Covid like a one off, but it will be our first global pandemic not our only one as nothing that caused this one (increasingly mobile human populations interacting with increasingly stressed and unhealthy animal populations) has changed, and in terms of all the infectious diseases out there covid actually has relatively low mortality so crazy as it sounds we were lucky that this was our first.
