Ok, I don't know what I've done to my hand, I popped something the other day, but now it hurts to try to hold a pencil or paintbrush or coffee mug and these are things I need as constant companions. It's kinda swollen, my thumb is stiff, but I can move everything, nothing is poking out, but I am experiencing pain so vivid, I may need to find black eyeliner and a velvet gown to fully embrace the gothic horror.
In a rational country, I would just go to A&E or a clinic and probably get it sorted relatively quickly.
Here...if I go to the ER, I'd wait for at least 5 hours, in a room full of germ laden disease monkeys, only for them to write me a referral to an orthopedic surgeon. No pain meds, because if you ask for pain management, you're instantly put on the "drug seeker" list and ignored.
I have SO much to do. So much. Thank gods for ktape and Delta9.
