i believe the data center produces its own power via natural gas turbines independent of the grid by using a natural gas pipeline.
data centers recycle water. cool water in hot water out
40,000 acres sounds like a lot but that's probably a phased buildout over 20 years
the data center hatred is the same as the factory hatred and power plant hatred that led to power production, manufacturing etc going over seas.
