The established powers use definition changes to control their populations all the time. Recently, the definition of a vaccine was changed to push people to believe that vaccines do not need to provide immunity, in order to push their mass vaccination agenda. In 1971, the definition of the dollar was changed to make people believe that the printed dollars themselves were money, instead of the gold that the paper was to supposed to be converted for. Gold was the real money. They removed the convertibility, and then they were free to debase the dollar to their hearts content by printing unlimited amounts. This has led to the destruction of real incomes since 1973, which has been slowly eroding through inflation. This kind of system has a limited lifespan, because it is unsustainable as inflation runs away from them, and they are unable to keep stealing from the populace quietly. We are nearing the end of this system.
