Addendum: Mazda is not mentioned in the article above but I know (at least in the US) there is an “opt-in” in the My Mazda App settings (an allow switch off by default) for telemetry sharing for insurance. Also, Mazda’s Connected Services privacy policy directs residents of US states with data privacy laws with info on how to exercise rights in CA, CT, CO, VA, UT. Access/delete, etc. #Privacy #Mazda
