When I first opened my #Mastodon account, I didn’t enable automated post deletion. A week later, I turned it on and set the age threshold to one year. Since then, I’ve gradually reduced it, and it now sits at one week — the lowest available. I don’t remember what I told my kid last month. So why should my toots stay online longer than things far more important that I can’t even recall?
