An unexpected snow storm just dropped about 3 inches (7.6 cm) of snow on the city I live in. Yesterday the forecast called for a dusting of snow with nothing sticking. By last night it said 1 inch. There were 2 inches on the car at 7 am. It took me 1.5 hours to get in to work, a 20 minute drive on most days, simply because they hadn't pretreated the roads and hadn't plowed. There were cars strewn about the highway where people had crashed into each other or the barriers or both. I made it safely to work. I feel for those stranded on the roads. ❄️
