Part 2 involved an oral viva, and her examiner could NOT believe that she got her question correct and pretty much told her that she is the wrong skin tone to have known the answer correctly. My mum, who literally topped the state in her MD examinations, failed an exam that could've changed her life and provided her with so many international opportunities.
So yeah, a white person not believing that a WOC can be excellent in her field does NOT come as a surprise to me whatsoever. 2/2
