Are you aware, that at the request of Elisha,
YHWH sent bears to kill 42 boys?

Why? Because they were saying 'mean things.'

He [Elisha] went up from there to Bethel... some small boys came out of the city and jeered at him, saying, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!” And he turned around, and when he saw them, he cursed them in the name of the Lord [YHWH]. And two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys.

Does this behaviour match that of Jesus?

1. Did Jesus tell us we can issue curses?
2. Did Jesus teach us to retaliate?
