Alas, I don't think I've had a "personal" letter for 20+ years - other than some propaganda from a local conservative politician, and even a hand written one from a persistent religious group (they encourage seniors to write and hand deliver them).
But I do read a lot of books (mostly non-fiction, recently I've made quite a collection of mostly 20th century books about motoring, which are a very interesting insight into the rise in car ownership in that century, how this expanded across social classes, and the impacts that two world wars had on this..
