"Say a sat a post/reply or something"... It's technically possible š But also not possible until all clients show messages received from relays. For now, what I've implemented in Nosflare is it hashes every note sent to it. And this can be fine-tuned down to the hash of a single word. So, for example, as I've done with the wss://relay.nosflare.com relay it only allows the same thing once. If someone else writes a note that just says "GM" they'll be the only ones who can publish a note with just "GM" that day. But as this is configurable, it can help at least stop spam that blasts the same thing over and over again. Of course, it can be evaded should they iterate those notes incrementally with something that makes the content unique each time. In my mind, it's the best compromise for now, that doesn't rely on WoT, and won't effectively excommunicate interactions from new peeps on Nostr.
