The most interesting thing I took home with me from Glastonbury was the testimony of some folks who were involved in the 1985 Battle of the Beanfield, which I’d previously only had the vaguest understanding of. I don’t think it’s too great a stretch to locate it alongside the Sanrizuka and Larzac struggles of the decade previous.
