My 18 year old cat has 7 chronic illnesses (all managed). She can only eat cat food made for senior cats with kidney disease. There aren’t lots of options: there’s tuna and chicken. Thankfully, those are her favorite proteins. She does the tuna for a month then switches to the chicken. And back again. They make a dry version of the chicken food, and I love that we’ve tricked her into thinking that’s a treat.
