The whole 110 effort is a reaction to Core changing the relay policy against everyone's wishes solely to make ONE corporation happy (Citrea), so that said corporation could add Eth features to bitcoin. I wish 110 was better, and it wouldn't be the end of the world if it gets implemented somehow, but I completely sympathize with the effort.
