Interested why you think it not being compatible with the few existing accounts is a barrier? If PoW is the way then now is the time right, before it’s millions of accounts?

I too foresee some issues with PoW keys, mentioned earlier it will likely open a market for people to sell accounts.

Thoughts on using some PoW in combination with deposits on relays?
